Jim Goldie and Phil Dennis have enjoyed a productive winter here and have solid claims with THEGLASGOWWARRIOR, already successful over course and distance. He backed up a January win with a couple of perfectly respectable placed efforts and rates a leading player in receipt of weight all round. The concern is that he's 3lb out of the handicap but he still makes plenty of appeal against inconsistent types. Corton Lad did not enjoy the best of seasons last year but looks set for a better campaign this time round as the handicapper has relented and he is one to note on this seasonal reappearance. Jamacho enters calculations after a jumpers' bumper win here earlier in the month, although Mister Belvedere and Rainbow Rebel may be better suited by the trip. Any support for L'inganno Felice, steadily working his way back from quite a lengthy absence, would be noteworthy as he looked potentially useful in early 2017.
