THE ORANGE ROGUE was beaten half-a-length by today's rival Boric in this last year on his return from a break and ended the campaign winning over a longer trip on the track. He looks certain to have been aimed at going one better and is taken to do so. The winner has only had two subsequent runs and failed to finish in either. Tikkandemickey had Revocation just behind when scoring over this trip at Carlisle and there's nothing between the pair again but Berkshire Downs, runner-up over hurdles here earlier this month, was well beaten on her only start over fences. The veteran Rosquero is on his highest ever rating after a close second over the track and trip but a repeat would see him in the frame and could even propel him into the winner's enclosure.
