    Verdict

Raul Da Silva rode Lulu The Zulu to victory at Chester for Michael Appleby and will be fancied to repeat the process on Jacobs Son but his mount is much better on Fibresand and has never won on Turf. Bling King's close second to Manchestar at Redcar in April would probably be good enough but he was then beaten a long way at Beverley and was 8l behind St Moritz at Redcar. CORTON LAD is on the same mark as when successful at Hamilton last August and has run well over longer trips on his two latest starts so this should prove within his capabilities. Outlaw Torn is generally consistent at this level and is no forlorn hope to gain the tenth victory of his career.
