Irish raider King of The Picts was beaten a head over the course and distance last month but a 3lb rise won't aid his cause and KNIGHTLY ESCAPADE, who finished two lengths behind in third, can take his revenge and land this for the second year running. Brian Ellison's charge took a fierce hold and failed to obtain a clear run at a crucial stage and though 9lb higher than a year ago he's taken to complete the double. Gleese The Devil has had very little experience and is still a maiden though this big step-up in trip could be just what's required. Lady Yeats has won around here though appears to do her best on ground with some give but Russian Royale is in superb form over hurdles and looks capable of a big run here from a mark of just 73. Virnon is unexposed but is another expected to do better now stepping up to a more suitable trip.
