In depth

Verdict

Deeds Not Words has been in fine form in lesser company and won a claimer a fortnight ago to land a double at Lingfield. Black Salt has also been in winning form though on the Fibresand at Southwell while Treacherous is another raised in class after gong close at Kempton. But Athollblair Boy and EQUIANO SPRINGS look likely to fight this one out. The former scored over track and trip recently but had finished just behind the latter here before that. Tom Tate’s charge was beaten only a neck on that occasion and is taken to confirm running on more favourable terms in the process of going one better.
