Verdict

A first try beyond 7f might suit Austin Powers but he’s more exposed than the majority of these. After a couple of solid placed efforts at Wolverhampton, HANDSOME BOB is due to go up a pound from next week. He’s almost certain to run his race again so gets the nod. Creel has been third twice over a mile on Turf but is having a first run on an artificial surface and Lord Caprio looks a bigger danger as he was a decisive winner over 7f here on his first run since being gelded, though does carry a penalty.
