        Verdict

        PORTH SWTAN went close in a decent nursery over today’s trip at Newmarket recently and has the edge over York runner-up Qianlong on these terms. Charlie Hills’ colt is also preferred to Moqarrar, who was still beaten five lengths when second at Kempton last time. Big Kitten made a promising start when just missing out at Beverley on his debut and can figure in the finish but the newcomers Windsor Cross and Howbaar will need to be above average to get involved in this company.
