Alexandrakollontai makes a quick reappearance under a penalty having popped up at 33/1 here last week. Counter Spirit won at Wolverhampton before placing over track and trip last time but GRISE LIGHTNING is preferred. The latter never threatened at Thirsk on her latest start but that was in Class 3 company and Richard Fahey’s filly gets another chance dropping down in grade with an apprentice taking 5lb off her back. La Isla Bonita is another more at home at this level while Culdrose may do better back over 7f today.
