Haydock winner Plaisterer went off too quickly at Epsom next time but this looks an even tougher task. Piano wasn't beaten far in this grade at Warwick and has the beating of Crystal Gal on that run, while Principal Role won at this level at Newbury last season and will be all the better for last month's third at Goodwood. The three-year-old Palm Pilot has never won on turf, however, and is yet to prove conclusively that she stays this far while Cracking Lass' best form is over further. This is OPERA GAL's first tilt at pattern company but she's earned the right with a string of solid efforts in decent handicaps and was only headed close home when third at Chester last time. The second, Lost In The Moment, ran well at Royal Ascot last week so Andrew Balding's filly gets the vote here.
