Most of these are struggling for form but COCKNEY SPARROW made a decent effort on her return to the Flat at York in May. She gets a token vote in a poor handicap on her comeback. A penalty for scoring at Beverley may scupper Discay's chances as he'd been found wanting off lower marks before that while Aegaeus, though in fine form on the all-weather early in the year, has gone backwards on Turf. Next Edition never threatened despite finishing third at Chester last time and Ebony Express is 5lb higher than June's win at Musselburgh but could still prove best of the rest.
