In depth

Verdict

Dark And Dangerous won on faster ground at Sedgefield on Boxing Day with Copt Hill well beaten but is upped 10lb for his trouble. Lady Buttons and Grexit have slipped down the ratings and the latter makes his handicap debut while Nafaath won off a similar mark at Uttoxeter in October though has been well beaten subsequently. CAPTAIN SHARPE scored off today’s mark at Sedgefield at this time last year. Having placed on his last couple of outings including a third over track and trip in soft ground, he looks set to go in again.
