Not much public form to work on and, as ever in this type of event, the market will provide further clues. Mick Channon has hit a rich vein of form of late particularly with his juveniles so Pivotal Guest can be expected to go close here having had the experience of a previous outing. The son of Pivotal faced no easy task taking on two previous winners in a useful minor event at Newbury earlier in the month and should prove a different proposition on this occasion. Lavish Times was far from disgraced behind useful opposition at Doncaster on his debut last month and is entitled to improve while Russian Valour and Imperial Echo both make plenty of appeal on breeding and could easily make an impact.
