      Verdict

      PERREGRIN was having his first outing since May when making a winning handicap debut last month. He had Brass Clankers back in fourth when scoring over today’s trip at Southwell and there should be more to come from Mark Johnston’s charge. Fair Warning is creeping steadily closer and was beaten only a neck at Kempton recently while Red Jasper posted one of his better efforts at Lingfield last time but looks no nearer winning. Sunshine Fantasy has shown little in novice company so far but can only improve now handicapping and looks best of the rest.
