    Verdict

    WEELLAN (NAP) ran nowhere near his best in soft going at Beverley last time but was beaten only a short-head over track and trip before that in a Class 2 handicap. John Quinn’s colt finished in front of Kit Marlowe on the latter occasion and should make another bold bid in this lower grade. Emerald Rocket came good in a Class 6 contest over 7f recently and carries 6lb extra as he steps up in class while Homerton makes his handicap debut having struggled in a conditions race at Leicester last time.
