Alan Swinbank has won this a couple of times in recent years and Kinema has been going well though has gone up in the weights without winning. He's held by Final Countdown on their run at Haydock last month and the latter looks certain to go well again with his 6lb rise being virtually wiped out by Joe Doyle's claim. Red Warrior is still 6lb higher than his only winning mark a year ago but it's hard to knock the form of Taghreeb, whose two victories have been over a mile though he's been staying on strongly at the finish of both. Corton Lad found two miles much too far at Musselburgh and is the only course and distance winner in the line-up but REMBRANDT VAN RIJN (NAP) is a lightly-raced and progressive type who reverts to Turf after scoring over further at Wolverhampton and looks on a tempting mark.
