        Verdict

        Ming Vase is taken to take this seller at a nice price and perhaps upset the likely better fancied Desert Lightning and Miss Monica. Miss Monica has a claiming race win to her credit this year and she has run respectably in handicaps of late. This represents a drop in grade and she looks sure to go well. Desert Lightning was placed in a similar contest at Musselburgh two outings ago and he is back in this class again here. He is well treated at the weights and looks to have a leading chance. Ming Vase won a selling handicap at Nottingham in good style two outings ago and although beaten since at Redcar in another seller he would not have been suited by the rain softened ground. Ming Vase can return to winning form here.
