In depth

Verdict

Three-year-olds get a huge weight allowance from older horses at this time of year and HARPERELLE was only beaten half-a-length by the speedy Snazzy here on debut last March. She later went close at Leicester and Redcar so it’s a bit concerning that she is making her reappearance in a seller but she’ll surely take all the beating if fully wound-up. Captain Lars has been a grand servant to Archie Watson’s yard, winning nine times. This is a big drop in class so he’s much respected with his rider taking off 5lb.This looks too sharp for Zapper Cass, however, while Discreet Hero finished last in his only two runs last year.
