In depth

Verdict

This handicap chase is quite a competitive contest and the three for the shortlist are Lutin du Moulin, Moon Mist and Celtic Flow with the vote given to the first mentioned. The selection was disappointing over hurdles last time but returns to the bigger obstacles here and with this step-up in trip very much in his favour he should take plenty of beating. Moon Mist finished second last time over hurdles when collared close home by Caesar's Palace. She is back over fences today and will be suited by today's trip and ground so could go well. Celtic Flow would have claims on the pick of her form but she is better on a faster surface so is passed over for that reason. Farington Lodge is from a top yard and is another with place claims, but for the winner we will stick with Lutin du Moulin.
