Spring Fling never figured in a Listed race last time and is 4lb higher than when scoring at Haydock before that when Sir Billy Wright finished third. Highland Acclaim has been thereabouts in this grade of late but has crept back up the weights as a consequence while there was little to separate Dragon King and Jaywalker when they filled the places over track and trip last week. But SPANISH CITY returned from a lay-off with a course and distance success last month and though upped in class for this, Roger Varian’s colt looks progressive enough to make another bold bid.
