In depth

Verdict

QUANTUM CAT (NAP) made a winning handicap debut when successful over track and trip last month. The runner-up has subsequently won so a 2lb rise may prove lenient. Franberri ran well behind the selection with Southern Voyage and Achnamara well beaten while Tenerife Sunshine scored off a similar mark at Kempton in August and has been competing in better company than this since. Sir Chauvelin needs further nowadays and Rhythmic Intent’s long losing run continues.
