In depth

Verdict

THE RESDEV WAY (NAP) has won two of his last three starts over track and trip but was upped 11lb for his latest success. However, he won with plenty in hand and is worth sticking with in this. Kelvin Hall has gone close the last twice but has to race off a 9lb higher mark back on the all-weather and so does Almutamarred, who scored over course and distance in between poor efforts on Turf. Deep Resolve won at Southwell back in April but may need the outing while Nonchalant is getting no closer to ending a long losing run despite sliding down the weights.
