Verdict
Several of the outsiders here can be readily discounted and the leaders in the betting market should prevail in this novices' hurdle. True North has only ever raced twice but came back from two years off the track to put in a creditable effort at Ayr behind top-class stablemate The Bajan Bandit and is open to significant improvement. Lucky Mick is consistent at a low level and although he may find one or two too good holds realistic each-way credentials. However the two who stand out on the form book are Perchancer and Stamparland Hill and it is difficult to separate the pair. The latter should relish this step up in trip and will make a better chaser in time while Perchancer is a quirky character but the form of his second to Byron Lamb at Ayr is rock solid in this company.
