Mini Minster, Low Delta, Thatlldoforme and YOUNG BUDDY make up the shortlist, with Malcolm Jefferson's gelding receiving the nomination. The selection was a winner over this course and distance last month and has run two good races in defeat since. He got tired late on at Catterick last time out but now dropped back in distance and reunited with Kyle James he looks the one to beat. Locked Inthepocket was well-fancied last time out and shapes as if a win may not be too far away but he needs to settle better, Jane Doe is now 10lb higher than when romping home over three miles here over a year ago, while Seven Stars' best efforts have come on desperate ground so he looks a player. Too Cool To Fool needs a market check on his handicap bow, Allanard went well for Graham Lee last time out, while Mister Pete and Oscar Trial have both run well over this track before and come here in good nick. Thatlldoforme is well-held by the selection on their latest run but his earlier Lie Forrit form leaps off the page, Lets Go Girls is adept in the mud, while Low Delta and Mini Minster are both much better than their latest outings might suggest. A tricky finale for punters but the confident selection is Young Buddy.
