    Verdict

    The betting suggested MONYA would go close at Wolverhampton on her racecourse debut and she was duly beaten less than a length in third by a horse rated 77. She should be winning at this level on that form. Redesdale Rebel made a promising start over track and trip, though failed to produce a similar effort on the Fibresand at Southwell last time. Deputy Star is preferred to stablemate Forever Mine and Bob Beach is related to winning sprinters and preferred to Prophecy of the newcomers.
