    Verdict

Fircombe Hall returned a winning favourite over track and trip last time. But he beat the re-opposing Stay Smart by only a neck so that pair are hard to separate. GAELIC SECRET was outpaced in the closing stages at Doncaster on his handicap debut but that was in a Class 4 contest and Keith Dalgleish’s charge should find life easier in this lower grade. He gets a speculative vote with further progress likely. Princess Of Lir struggled at Southwell having made a promising debut over 5f at Wolverhampton earlier but Capla Dream is fitted with headgear and may finish closer.
