In depth

Verdict

Holmes St Georges was due to race at Ballinrobe yesterday while Fingal's Hill was well beaten in this grade before scoring on faster going at Doncaster. Thereisnodoubt remains 6lb higher than when scoring at Kelso with Mcgowan's Pass well behind but WORD HAS IT (NAP) has slipped back down the weights and looks set to take advantage as he was a distance clear of the rest when runner-up at Stratford last time.
