        Verdict

        Sir Michael Stoute’s yard continues to fire in the winners and MAYTAL (NAP) makes plenty of appeal. Third at Kempton in November, she’s a half-sister to the brilliant Midday and will relish this longer trip on her reappearance. Skytree placed at Nottingham last season and is preferred to Bluenose Belle and Cedar's Stars but a couple of the newcomers represent the powerful Gosden team with Godolphin purchasing Belles Lettres for $300,000 while Golden Bugle is out of a Listed winner.
