In depth

Verdict

MONTOYA'S SON (NAP) seems to have rediscovered his best form and still looks leniently treated. There is no reason to desert him here as Categorical is still 5lb higher than when scoring over course and distance in March and has been racing over further lately. Swing Hard did well last season, winning here and at Musselburgh, but he hasn't raced since January and has to give 5lb to an in-form rival. Stablemate Ballymoat is getting no nearer while Prosecco is better over 2m but Ros Castle is coming down the weights and will be interesting in the near future.
