A wide open contest gets proceedings under way but the principals look to be Gaiety Girl, Vademecum and Foxies Future and the confident vote goes to Gaiety Girl. Tim Easterbys in mate has shown enough in two starts to date to suggest she can win a race of this nature and a reproduction of her latest fourth behind Spring Godess would make her hard to beat. Vademecum rates the main danger he showed improved form to be fourth behind Shady Reflection last time and if he improves again he has definite place claims. Foxies Future is also worthy of respect he has not been beaten far in much better races of late but he may be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time. Of the remainder Mr Lewin is from a yard in form and is worth noting in the market but we are happy to side with Gaiety Girl.
