Two of the three renewals have gone to a David Barron runner and Spes Nostra is back on a winning mark and fit from the all-weather. Sheriff Of Nawton returned an easy winner at Doncaster last month but is up 9lb while Mica Mika won at the same meeting, his first win on Turf since 2012, but fourth-placed Ardmay may reverse running on better terms. Walk Like A Giant also scored at the Lincoln meeting with Frontline Phantom well beaten but is upped in class for this. DRAGOON GUARD (NAP) will be sharper for a comeback run at Chelmsford when returning a losing favourite. Marco Botti's charge is taken to make amends here having gone close at Leicester off a similar mark last season.
