In depth

Verdict

Elusive Heights and Bawaader filled the places over track and trip recently and the former is fitted with headgear today attempting to win for the first time since 2016. But LADY ALAVESA finished runner-up in a higher grade contest over course and distance last week and Michael Herrington’s mare may prove good enough with an apprentice taking 5lb off her back on this occasion. Happy Face was placed over a longer trip in novice company last time and makes her handicap debut while the more exposed Tagur is back on a winning mark and is preferred of the remainder.
