    Placed in pattern company last summer, MR SCARAMANGA (NAP) landed the odds in a novices race at Lingfield on last month’s debut for a new connections. Clear of the rest on these terms, he looks the one beat off a mark of 99. Mailshot went close in a handicap at Wolverhampon recently and has a bit to spare with Mums The Word at the weights but and it remains to be seen if Ay Ay and Brittanic can find the required improvement having both made winning starts over 7f at Lingfield and this track respectively.
