Melodine has much the best form of those with experience though was still beaten five lengths at Kempton on her debut. She may improve when attempting middle-distances like many from her yard. SIGNE will no doubt attract plenty of attention given she’s related to Group 1 winners and cost 1.1 million euros as a yearling. She has to give plenty of weight to the younger horses including fellow newcomers, Dalavida and Hot Natured, on her belated debut but may prove good enough under Paul Hanagan.
