Blackoft is taken to score at the expense of Hassaad and Teide Lady. The selection has not been disgraced in all his starts to date this season without getting his head in front. He was not beaten far last time out when fourth of eleven at Leicester last time out and the fact that connections have stuck with the maiden route means they must feel his is more than capable of winning one so is therefore on to stay on the right side of. Hassaad has shown some average ability in maiden company so far in his three runs to date. His latest performance at Ripon was not his best performance though so it is questionable which direction he is going so is therefore one to treat with caution. Teide Lady gets the fillys weight allowance and ran a personal best at Lingfield last time out when second to Maidford. She looks an improver so is one to note but for the winner we return to Blackoft.
