RUTHERFORD was beaten by a horse rated 71 when failing to land the odds at Wolverhampton last month but she’s likely to start at restrictive odds again in this but should make no mistake this time. Dusky Maid has four lengths to find with the selection on latest running and Coral Princess and R U Mine are hard to recommend on what little they have shown so far so Harbour Siren may well get involved on her debut as she’s related to three winners.
Coral Princess (IRE) 50-1 (9-0) Always towards rear, never on terms, 8th of 9, 11 1/2l behind Harlow (9-5) at Newcastle 1m mdn stks (5) pol in Mar.
Dusky Maid (IRE) 10-1 (8-9) Dwelt, soon chasing leaders, pushed along before halfway, ridden and no impression when dropped to 4th inside final furlong, 4th of 5, 6l behind Blue Bahia (8-9) at Wolverhampton 7f mdn fll stks (5) pol in Feb.
Harbour Siren Harbour Watch filly out of Dee Dee Girl.
R U Mine (IRE) 33-1 (9-2) Slowly into stride, took keen hold in last pair, pushed along halfway, always behind, last of 8, 11 3/4l behind Eyes On Asha (9-2) at Newcastle 1m mdn fll stks (5) pol in Mar.
Rutherford (IRE) 5-6fav (8-9) Led, rider dropped reing briefly over 1f out, headed inside final furlong, stayed on same pace, 2nd of 5, 2l behind Blue Bahia (8-9) at Wolverhampton 7f mdn fll stks (5) pol in Feb.
