Jeanry looks to be going the right way after an improved performance on his handicap debut at Bangor when last seen in December and he has to be considered but this looks to lie between two last time out winners, MISTER PETE and Crystal Runner, with preference for the former. The selection, like a lot of Chris Grant's runners, has shown better form of late and stepped up from a promising effort over course and distance when winning well on heavy ground here last time again over today's trip. An 8lb rise for that win looks harsh but his main rival, Crystal Runner has gone up the same amount for winning his race here last time but that was over two miles and she may not be as effective over the longer trip today. Ardesia has plenty to find with the selection on running here last time, while The Dunion has yet to prove that he handles ground anywhere near as testing as this. John Quinn's Not Talking is lightly raced and may do better now switched to a handicap but he needs to improve on all form to trouble the judge and a safer option looks to be Mister Pete.
