Verdict

The betting suggested SET PIECE would make a bold bid on his debut and he duly won at Kempton in the style of a promising colt. He’s taken to defy a penalty given the others with experience showed little on their respective debuts but a couple of the newcomers represent powerful yards. Will of Iron is a half-brother to a winner and the Gosden colt has an early entry in the Derby while William Haggas introduces Sparkle In His Eye, who is related to several winners including former stablemate and Listed winner Token Of Love.
