Verdict

The Dancing Poet failed to stay 2m last time but had won an amateurs’ race over today’s trip at Catterick before that. Gliding Bay also drops back down to his winning trip having scored at Lingfield in July with Citizen General back in third and the latter has subsequently won over track and trip. But GRAPH posted a better effort attempting to make all at Southwell on her handicap bow and she gets another chance with plenty of scope for further progress and Harry Davies taking 3lb off her back.
