Spirit Power won at Haydock in July and testing ground may have been a legitimate excuse for a poor effort back at the same track last time. Fard failed to land a hat-trick when upped to 7f here recently while Gleaming Arch narrowly beat Swiss Connection over track and trip with The Grey Zebedee further behind and it’s a close call between that pair. But it could be the turn of LONGROOM today given he was winning off a 17lb higher mark last year and was beaten less than a length at Catterick on his latest start.
