In depth

Verdict

Carbis Bay drops down in trip weighted to beat Calypso while Leading Lion never figured on his debut and has been gelded. The latter’s stablemate Daydream Express cost 300,000gns but the Frankel newcomer BEYOND WORDS is related to a Group 2 winner and gets a speculative vote. Soowaih has had a breathing operation and Notability will be sharper for last week’s debut in this country.
