A low-grade handicap in which JOHNNY BOOM can gain his fourth victory of the summer. He's improved 18lb since scoring at Beverley and his four all-weather defeats came at Southwell early in his career. Bluetech has improved with each run this campaign and has scope for further progress while Libby Ami certainly wasn't stopping over a mile at Carlisle so the trip shouldn't be a problem. Recent Nottingham winner Don't Joke has been well beaten when tackling this surface in the past while Ayr Empress has disappointed since scoring at Hamilton. The lightly-raced East Coast Road has changed stables and may do best of the remainder.
