A low grade handicap albeit a keenly contested one can go to Ajeel. John Dunlop's charge shaped with ability on both starts as a juvenile and may have been unsuited by a combination of a slow pace and testing ground when a beaten favourite on his comeback. The assessor has not been harsh and it would be surprising if the son of Green Desert was unable to make an impact at this level.Tim Easterby's Missing is another capable of better on his handicap debut while Mr Lear hacked up in a poor event at Southwell in February but had his limitations exposed later in the month and has not been seen since. Oldenway,runner-up on his return in a modest contest at Pontefract, may pose a bigger threat.
