Verdict

A winner at Hexham in December, ECHO EXPRESS was upped in class at Ayr last time and failed to figure. Nicky Richards’ charge gets another chance back at this level given the modest recent form of today’s opposition. Black Kettle has shown little in three subsequent starts since winning last year’s renewal though is now back on a winning mark while Alltimegold may have finished closer at Chepstow last time if not for losing ground when hampered. The veteran Duhallowcountry popped-up at a big price at Sedgefield last month but has been well beaten either side of that and the remainder all continue to struggle.
