Verdict

Da 'Quonde ended last season on the up with victories in testing ground at Chester and Nottingham. But she's 8lb higher on her reappearance and preference goes to AETNA. The latter ran well in the Catterick Dash off today's mark in October with Singeur and Angus Og behind and scored over track and trip earlier in the year. Jamaican Bolt is hard to keep right but capable at this level and Bear Behind usually gives of his best but is hard to win with. Fast Shot has a second in the Ayr Silver Cup to recommend him and it was soft ground when Rusty Rocket scored off a 2lb lower mark at Nottingham in November.
