      Verdict

      Reverant Cust won a beginners’ chase over a longer trip on his penultimate start but failed to complete at Carlisle last time. Hawk High scored at Wetherby in November before struggling over these fences when Cool Mix went close with RAVENHILL ROAD (NAP) not far behind in third. Iain Jardine's charge has every chance once again but the latter may well have won if not for breaking a blood vessel having led at the last fence and Brian Ellison’s charge gets another chance in this. Both Shepherd Storm and Uncle Bobby finished a long way behind the selection last time.
