tracked leader, reminders before and not fluent 4th, mistake 10th, reminders before and after 8th, no chance with winner from 10th, pluggled on to hold 2nd place from 4 out
tracked leaders in 3rd and in rear, jumped right 9th, soon struggling, plugged on in close 3rd from 4 out, never dangerous
made all, clear from 10th, not fluent last, very easily
ZARU looks to have a good chance to get off the mark over fences. He won his latest start over timber at this track and showed some promise on his chasing bow at Doncaster. The testing ground is a worry but if handling it, he can get the better of Senor Alco. The latter makes his debut over fences on his first start under Rules since 2011 though he's subsequently won a couple of point-to-points and makes more appeal than another points winner in Cottiers Den.
