      Verdict

      Debawtry won at Musselburgh over a year ago and has left David O’Meara’s yard since. The latter runs GO ROO in this and he may prove good enough with headgear applied for the first time having placed here the last twice. He’s weighted to beat Madam Devious and Gleaming Arch while the latter’s saddle slipped last time and he’d earlier finished in front Hop Maddocks when placed over track and trip. Thirlmere is a sister to smart stablemate and winning sprinter Holmeswood but has been withdrawn at the start twice now having taken exception to the stalls on both occasions.
