      Verdict

      Alqaab is going the right way with an improved effort at Wolverhampton last time but has no easy task giving weight to the younger horses. Moss Gill finished closer stepped up to 6f last time while Sapphire Jubilee is another dropped in trip and was still beaten a long way when placed at Southwell. Skeetah’s best effort last term came in soft ground so the newcomer LADY IN FRANCE, a half-sister to several winners including the smart sprinter Stepper Point, may well prove good enough to make a winning debut.
