Verdict

Korabushka and Light Well finished fourth and fifth in the Doncaster maiden won by High Jinx and look guaranteed improvers. The ground was officially described as good to soft that day but looked more testing with the field finishing well strung out, making it harder to assess the pair on better ground. END OR BEGINNING was thought good enough to take his chance in the Queen's Vase at Royal Ascot and wasn't disgraced in finishing seventh of eleven. He's down half a mile here but receives a narrow vote, having shown decent maiden form previously. Sirius Superstar has claims if forgiven a poor effort last time having looked an improving sort at Salisbury the time before.
