In depth

Verdict

Elegant Annie didn't show much on debut but HEROIC HEART was very green at Doncaster and will have learned plenty from that. She has a middle-distance pedigree so the extra furlong is certain suit and she can get the better of stablemate Flyweight, who runs in the Godolphin colours along with the Charlie Appleby-trained Vicennalia. Jockey bookings suggest Out of The Dark will be the pick of the three Richard Hannon fillies ahead of Pinky Promise and Mayfair Magic while Hughie Morrison's two-year-olds are always worth a second look here and Pastoral Star is no exception. Wrapped is a sister to one winner and a half-sister to three others so can't be ignored either.
